The terms for practice interviews you start yourself on MasterPrep AI.

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Next Frontier Labs Pty Ltd (ACN 698 199 852, ABN 46 698 199 852), trading as MasterPrep AI ("we", "us").

They cover practice interviews — sessions you start yourself, for your own preparation. By starting a practice interview you accept these terms.

They do not cover interviews you were invited to by an employer. If an employer asked you to interview on our platform, your relationship is with that employer, and their terms and privacy policy apply. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle information in each case.

2. Who can use practice interviews

You must be at least 18 years old. By using practice interviews you confirm that you are.

You need a Google account to sign in. The account is for you alone — please don't share your login or let anyone else practise using it.

3. What a practice interview is

You choose an interview type, our AI asks you questions, you answer by voice, and we generate feedback on your responses.

A few things to be clear about:

  • Practice interviews are not job applications. Completing one doesn't apply you for any role, doesn't put you in front of any employer, and doesn't give you any advantage in any real hiring process.
  • We're not acting for any employer when you practise. Some companies use our platform for their own hiring, but a practice interview is entirely separate from that. We don't share your practice interviews with employers, and no employer sees them.
  • The feedback is AI-generated. It can be incomplete, inconsistent or wrong. Treat it as one perspective to help you prepare, not as an assessment of your ability, and not as career advice.
  • We can't promise an outcome. Practising with us doesn't improve your chances of getting any particular job, and we make no representation that it will.

4. Recording

Practice interviews are recorded — video and audio. That's how we produce your transcript and feedback.

Recordings are deleted automatically from our storage 30 days after the interview. Transcripts and feedback are kept while your account is active, and we'll delete them sooner if you ask. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

We don't use your practice interviews to train AI models.

5. What it costs

Some practice interviews are free. Others are paid, and the price is shown before you buy.

Prices are shown in Indian rupees or Australian dollars depending on where you are. Payment is handled by Stripe on their own checkout page — we never see your full card number.

You're buying a specific practice interview, not a subscription. There's nothing to cancel and nothing that renews.

6. Refunds

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer protection laws that apply to you. Those rights come first, and we can't contract out of them.

In practice:

  • If something goes wrong on our side — the interview doesn't start, cuts out, or you don't receive feedback — tell us and we'll either give you another interview or refund you.
  • If you've completed the interview and received your feedback, we generally can't refund it, because the service has been delivered.
  • If you bought by mistake and haven't started, contact us and we'll sort it out.

To ask about a refund, email support@masterprep.ai and tell us what happened.

7. Using the service fairly

Please don't:

  • share your account, or practise on someone else's behalf
  • record, copy, publish or resell our interview questions or feedback
  • use bots, scripts or automated tools to access the service
  • try to break, overload or get around the security of the platform
  • use the service for anything unlawful

If you do any of these, we may suspend or close your account. Where we can, we'll tell you why first.

8. Who owns what

Your answers are yours. You give us permission to record, process and analyse them so we can run the interview and produce your feedback — nothing more.

The platform is ours — the interview questions, the feedback engine, the software and the MasterPrep AI name. You're welcome to use your own feedback however you like, but please don't copy or redistribute the questions or the platform itself.

If you send us suggestions about the product, we may use them freely.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the service running, but it's an online product and we don't promise it will always be available. We may change features, add new interview types, or retire old ones.

If you've paid for an interview you haven't taken and we retire it, we'll give you an equivalent one or refund you.

10. Where we stand on liability

Again — your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and other consumer protection laws are unaffected by anything here, including the guarantees that services be provided with due care and skill and be fit for purpose.

Beyond those rights, and to the extent the law allows:

  • We're not responsible for decisions you make based on our feedback, or for the outcome of any job application or interview.
  • Where we are liable to you for something, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the practice interview concerned, or to providing that interview again.

11. Closing your account

You can stop using the service at any time, and ask us to delete your account and data by emailing support@masterprep.ai.

We may close your account if you breach these terms, or if we stop offering practice interviews. If we stop offering them, we'll refund anything you've paid for and not used.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page with the date it was last updated. Changes apply to interviews you start after the update — not to ones you've already bought.

13. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. If you're a consumer in another country, this doesn't remove any protection you have under the law where you live.
