Smoother interviews for candidates, clearer feedback for hiring managers, and a new usage view for recruiters.
See your usage at a glance
Your recruiter portal has a new Usage page in the left-hand menu. It shows how many candidates you've added and how many billable interviews they've taken, for this month and the two before it.
Why it helps: you can track your hiring volume yourself, any time, without waiting for a monthly report.
Available on managed (enterprise) accounts. Self-serve accounts see their interview credits on the Billing page.
Fewer interviews interrupted by technical problems
- If you start talking before tapping to answer, you'll get a gentle reminder. You'll also see a live microphone indicator while you speak.
- If your microphone stops working, you're told straight away, so you never talk to a mic that isn't picking you up.
- If your internet drops for a moment, your answer is sent again automatically and the question stays on screen when you reconnect.
- Holding the Space bar or double-clicking no longer cuts an answer short.
- Candidates using Firefox now have their video recorded, like everyone else.
Why it helps: more candidates finish their interview smoothly, everyone is judged on a full set of answers, and there are fewer retakes.
Feedback based only on what candidates said
If a recording comes through silent, the candidate is asked to answer again, so feedback is never based on an empty answer.
Why it helps: ratings and quotes in the feedback match what the candidate really said.
Sharper interviews for roles you create yourself
These changes apply to interviews you build from a job description under Add Interviews:
- The interviewer keeps asking follow-up questions on each skill until it finds the limit of what the candidate can do. This makes it easier to tell a strong candidate apart from one who simply sounds confident.
- Questions and ratings follow the same fair standard for every candidate.
- Feedback arrives as a one-page summary: an overall rating, a verdict on each skill, and the candidate's strongest and weakest moments, each backed by their own words.
Why it helps: a confident hire or no-hire decision from a single screen, with the evidence right there.
Because the interviewer now digs deeper, these interviews may run a few questions longer than before.
